You've been a member of this forum for almost a year and you don't own a Z? What do you know about the quality of the Z? And tell me what car does not have any issues? How can you love something you don't own?

Will hit 20K on the way home tonight. Bought June 06.

Engine #2 appears to be consuming oil (first replaced for oil consumption, second engine just past break-in).
Shutter valve needed to be replaced for gas tank (tank didn't fill up all the way).

Give me an engine with no oil consumption and I will love the car.

Just because ive been a member for a year dosent mean anything. I am a full time college student who has been saving money to buy one. And about the quality of the z, i said very clear that I am just going by what everyone is typing in this thread about problems with the car. And of course no car in the world is problem free but, there seems to be alot of people stating problems that I have never heard of under 20-40k miles. And how can I love something I dont own? Your telling me that you dont have a car in your mind that you would love to have? And the fact that I work valet in palm beach where I drive them every once in awhile (when were not full of bentleys and rolls ). Sorry that I have some how offended you in some great way.

Purchased July '06 and it now has 31,900 miles on it. No problems!

I was worried about oil consumption, but it's less than a quart at oil change times so I'm totally content.

No dings or paint chipping. Maybe because I drive mostly lonely windy roads.

41,000 Daily Driver, purchased 11/26/05.

Grinding from 5th to 6th repaired under warranty (not enough clearance for rubber o-ring i was told???)
Driver side window makes clicking sound only after i leave car parked in heat (not sure why only on hot days)

No really bad problems that have left me stranded, a joy to ride around in!

Just look at your post . . . you only focus on the negative. I guarantee you the positive things about the Z more than outweigh the negative 10 to 1. Yeah, I get offended when people like you criticize a great car without looking at the whole picture. If you think the Z has so much problems, why are you even considering buying it? Go get yourself a Toyota & a Honda instead.

If I only focused on the negative then I would have said something like "I dont want one now". I know every car has problems. I dont see how I criticized a great car and only focus on negative aspects, but apparently you think so. Like I said depsite what problems the car has, I will still get one. I was just surprised at how many people had odd problems like window motors going out and such. And why would I want a toyota or honda. You really have no justification as to what your saying. Apparently you have had some bad problems and regret buying the car or something. Sorry to everyone that was offened because I was surprised at some of the problems that were being stated.
