It will be in the 40s tomorrow morning in San Antonio. I guess I'll be driving my Z to work.

Cold weather is fast weather, but there is a minor problem. All the other cars are also faster.

The last time i went out to the track i ran a 14.1 in my auto with a 2.3 60ft on a un prepped track i'm sure in this type of weather i would hit 13,s no wonder some of you guys are in the 13,s. Here in austin on a hot day you will be lucky to hit low 14,s its like a 100 degress out just about every day usually.
Hey there! I'm in Austin too and I, too, am loving this weather! Horray cool weather (for once) and crappy gas mileage!!

68 degree here is freezing here and only get's there at like 4 in the morning for like a month a year. other than that it's usually 90ish during the day with high 70-80's at night...

If you think your car is slow out there in Texas , try Vegas with no humidity , crappy air quality and in the summer 120 degree heat. I head down to the cali coast and it feels like i added 30+ hp, and i get 5 MPg better.

Cold weather = more power
Cold weather = sh*tty grip from my POS Nitto 555s
sh*tty grip from my POS Nitto 555s > more power
therefore:
Cold weather = slower Z for me

Are you trying to say that the reaction time has a bearing on your ET?

yep, people dont figure this part of the equation into it. on street tires you colder weather doesnt necessarily net you better times.

My cars actually do "feel" faster when the sun isn't present and cooler temperatures exist.

You should move here to Denver. In fall, it turns stock airbox into CAI and CAI into SCAI (Super Cold Air Intake).
