Is there a variety of K&N air filters for the Z? Does it make a lot of difference? I have seen some for about $45 and figured on getting one. A lot of guys put them on their trucks where I live to make them louder. Last Question: Are they easy to install?

First came the Fairlady Z badge, then the B&B exhaust, then the grounding kit, the the InJen CAI, then the NISMO (replica) spoiler, then the LED sidemarkers. Up next it's the NISMO S Tune suspension, and bigger, wider wheels and tires. After that, only my wallet knows. LOL

Put in my Pioneer hu, which isn't really a mod, but it was still a lot of money! But hopefully putting in Injen intake, grounding kit and clear lenses this weekend

ya i know, couldnt feel that much of a difference on the butt dyno, but it does sound nicer a 4k+ rpm.
and also for 30$ i was able to buy an unused one from a member of this board, cant go wrong with that

first "mod" if you want to call it that was a hardwired stealth mount v1.

this past weekend i installed a grounding kit.

19" te-37s are coming soon, as are eibachs. window tint is on the list too.

thats it until more performance mods come out and i decide

Can you elaborate on the sound difference? What do you mean by "nicer"? A more powerful, air-sucking sound at the engine or lowder at the exhaust? or what?

1st thing was a pair of HID headlight lens protection (3M film)..those babies each cost 1K to replace. Especially with all pebbles on the highway.

Not a performance mod, but I added a black pearl license plate frame and installed smoked sidemarkers a week ago. First performance mod is going to be the grounding kit, if I ever get the time to make one. But looks like I'm going to be getting new tires, that is if I can't find a replacement for my warped front right tire.
