at some places. TVR TUSCAN is in Japan not here. Everything else is at somewhere in US. My Murcie and modena will be sitting in my shop in Mountain View.

I seem to be working against myself.
Hey, you can have both. Considering there's no room for a dual bandpass box in your Z, you'll be adding a couple of amps weighing in a massive maybe 20 lbs. total, and new speakers all around, with negligible extra weight over stock. As long as you're not planning to stuff 2 12"s or something, you should be fine. As for me, I'm just adding an MP3 receiver then concentrating on performance.

The stock Z is going to be fast enough to rip any sane person's kidneys out... and if you were to drop the clutch enough to get 5.4 consistently you'll be very unhappy in the long run...

I agree spending mad money on a stereo is crazy. My limit is $2000 + install. With all the "mods" I want to do (stereo, dynamat, tint, install, etc), I have a $3000 "hard limit". I'll go a few hundred over maybe, but that's it.

I'm not tweaking the engine at all. Not because I think it's bad, but the stock Z will be plenty fast for my needs.

Regarding your Q about db's, some good sound deadening should definitely take care of that, and it won't add much weight.

Default 350 TAKO??

350 TAKO, how old are you and what do you do. I must agree with the house, and cars, as long as its nice who cares, doesnt need to be huge. Those cars make the house worth a million bucks anyway

I hear that's a really good industry to be in... after all, between baseball games and elephants, demand and consumption are huge! Plus, low overhead.

Yup, those cars and that neighborhood don't match. Looks like only a two car garage to me so where do you park all those cars?? Now, I hate to have to end up eating crow so it is possible, but still seems highly unlikely. We are talking $750,000 worth of cars there. Maybe this guys is a master detailer and all the Silicon Valley millionaires (the one's that cashed out at the right time) bring their cars to him. But maybe, just maybe, he does own all those cars and that's why he has to live in that neighborhood!! Who knows. It's the internet.

I don't wanna repeat explanation on every thread. Just come up to bay area for StrictlyZ BBQ this sunday. Small mind to think there's only one location to live, buddy...... Just kiddin. And it's the cheapest and saddest thing to claim someone else's nice cars as yours hehe.

I didn't say you didn't own all those cars. What I did say is that 15 out of 16 times it's just more internet BS. Are you the acception? Could be, I don't know. But you can't blame people for being skeptical.

350Z_Tako,

I now truly don't care if the cars or the house are yours. Your sense of humor and infininte patience through out this thread has earned my respect. I truly hope those cars are yours, because if they arn't you deserve them.

If I had my 350 already, I might have driven up to the bay area for the meet just to shake your hand. Maybe after Sept ??th.
