It's always good to change the oil, but you'll definately want to change the oil again once it comes out of storage after those few months. Its also a good idea to run the car for a bit once every two weeks or so while in storage, to keep everything lubricated.
Take your wheels off and leave it up on jacks.
Unhook your battery.
DO NOT start your car every few weeks. Just don't start it. Reason being, is the oil is gonna drain down into the pan. When you start it, there won't be any lubrication. Now, would you rather do that once, or every one to two weeks?
Don't worry about changing your oli before hand... you're gonna have to do it before you start your car again anyways (depending on how long you keep it in storage). Also, this way, you won't have to worry too much about all the oil draining into the pan.

There have been many threads on winter storage... You can do more.. or less.. If it is for a couple months, you'll probably be fine...but.. here is what I'm doing this year..
Full tank of gas
An oil change before and after storage
Crack a window before the next step-
-Remove battery and connect to a trickle charger
Inflate tires to 40psi cold
Park tires on overturned chunks of carpet to keep em off the concrete
Open box of baking soda to keep the funk away
Wash/wax before putting the cover on
Good luck.

Some people put other items under the tires, plywood, etc.. I am just using what I have available. The carpet has a hard matting underneath it - I figured it would be less apt to contain any moisture (than the carpet side)... as the point is to keep the tire off of moisture. "chunks" is about a 3'x3' section
My list of things i did. (recommended to me by someone who's job it to maintain and repair an entire fleet vehicles)
Fill the gas tank FULL and put a gas stabilizer in it. Run for about 10 minutes to make sure it mixes and get through the injectors.
When you park the car change the oil. Oil absorbs moisture over time which can rust your internals. Plus do you really want all the junk in old oil sitting and settling in your car for 4 months? Hell no
Wash and Wax the car before covering it for the winter.
If you have jackstands use those and lift the car up and take off the tires so you don't get flat spots and don't hurt your suspension will added "dead weight" while in the air.
Put rags or a towel in the tailpipe so critters don't crawl in there to hibernate
Put an open tupperware container with moth ***** in the engine bay also so critters so nest in there.
Disconnect the battery and DO NOT start your car at all this winter until you put it back in the road.
Baking soda container in the cabin is optional but a good idea
