Almost everyone that looks at my new 350Z says it looks like a Porche.How many other people hear the same thing?

 

I hear that all the time.

 

i get the same thing , it kind of sounds like , " oh u have no money for porsche so u bought a z "

 

I take it as a compliment.

 

I have heard that many times, I consider it a compliment since I know what I paid compared to a Porsche. Just so they don't say it looks like an Aztek!

 

I also got the "Isn't your new car cute"

 

ok, not trying to offend you....but did you repaint it to be pink? i've never heard that comment....haha. i always get "that's an awesome car" or "sweet" or the regular porsche comment. but...cute...that's for a beetle.

yep...the good ol' "kinda looks like a porsche"...i think everyone must get that. I was showing my car to someone online...someone looked over and said "nice porsche..thats the car you got?"....for a split second from the 3/4 view...it looks like the shape of the porche...from behind too with the egg shaped azz.

 

Fist day I got mine, showed to my grand parents... they thought i went crazy and used up all my tution money to get a porsche

Then I told them what it is, and that it's more like half the price of a porsche, they thought it was a cool purchase !

I believe the rear as seen from the front side does have some "911-ness) too it...
But thats it.

Not that much less than a boxter, well i guess alot less than a 911 turbo, but hey in that case people with a porsche would be the "poor man's lambo or aston martin"

Some guy told me: "It looks even BETTER than a porsche!"

 

So a friend of mine made a comment the other day of how the 350Z looks a lot like a Porsche. A comment that was nice and brings a smile to my face.

Another friend made the same obeservation but phrased it a little differently; "You know that 911 looks a lot like your Z."

BINGO! That made me chuckle.

So next time you encounter a guy in a new 2003 Porsche 911 Carrera, pay him a compliment a tell him how much his car looks like your Z.

 

Exactly why I bought mine!

 

Once, when I was walking to my car after buying oil at Autozone, I hear overhear a conversation by some employees who were looking at my car, and I swore I heard one of them say, "Bad thing is, it looks like the new Porsche." If he was talking about the Carrera GT, I think it looks more like the 911 Carrera, but either way, I don't see what's so bad about it.

 

got that from the gardener..lol he asked me..is that the new Porsche Z i've been hearing about..i said yes, lots of $$$
