Man dude, that looks rough...its a great to hear that you are ok! As someone said earlier, I would just watch yourself for the next few weeks and see if anything changed...cause sometimes internal injuries don't manifest immediately!

This situation kinda answers a question that came up for me...I was 4 cars behind an SUV that got into a head on collision with a bus a couple of nights ago, and it was ugly...but it got me thinkin, how would the Z hold up in a collision, and its good to see that although the car is totalled the driver is ok...sorry it had to be at your expense!

BTW, Is the radio still intact?

It's really quite absurd that this guy gets in a wreck, clearly not his fault, but that of a drunk idiot, and if he's lucky he walks away with a check to replace his used car, maybe. Forget that this drunk fool could have easily killed the OP or someone else. I personally believe they should hold drunk drivers so accountable, and damage them, ruin them financially, so that they never even dream of doing it again. I'm always amazed to see how many times repeat offenders keep getting their license back, or somehow drive again, after they do things like this. You can be sued $220,000 for downloading mp3's, but drunk driving will get you a slap on the wrist and a few small fines.
Good thing you're ok. If there's a way to go after the guy for dui, do it.

Thanks for all the comments. I will not be selling anything off the car I went back and looked at the intake and it's not round anymore all the way to the throttle body so its ruined. The floor mats have oil on them because they threw all the **** inside the car Anything else id have to buy the car back from the insurance and then part it out which i am not going to do. BTW I am looking to buy an 06 Touring Z when the check for the car comes So i'll stay in the z family

 

The Z held up pretty well. What's important is that you were able to walk away without serious injuries.

 

Tell them you grandfathers dying wish was to ride in the car with you and it had sentimental value. Start visiting a physchiatrist and just chat. Then sue the guy for mental and physical damages. Remeber the more your neck "hurts" the faster the next one goes.
