Anyway, I am 21 years old and have been paying for my Z since I bought it on January 21st (was 20 then). I am very thankful that I could afford one. I'm not some spoiled rich *** kid. Here are all the things I have to pay for.
-A fiance (you guys know how expensive it is to have a girlfriend/fiance/wife)
-College tuition at the University of Washington (graduating class of '08)
-Car payment
-Insurance
-Mods (of course I gotta mod the Z )
-Phone Bill
-Rent
-Gas
-Daily expenses
I work part-time as Marketing Director/Recruiter for a Property Management Firm and have been working since I was 16, and in the Apartment industry since I was 17. It's tough but it's doable and yes I may have been able to afford the Z but for the last 4 years I have been working EVERY SINGLE WEEKEND! It totally sucks. It wasn't until this year with the promotion in this company that I was able to get every Saturday off. Thank God for that and for blessing me with everything else. Working while in college sucks but it had allowed me to do a lot of things I otherwise wouldn't be able to do.
So responsibility wise I have to say I have been through more than the average 21 yrs old. I have a good grasp of value and respect for people, cars, and especially the car I own and drive. The level of maturity is more important than age.
