hi i am new to the nissan forum and recently i just got the
04 pearl white roadster and i am loving it!

ok, here is my question

i used to ride bmw 325 and have volvo also,
the both bmw and volvo, i can check the mileage from the dealer with the key
to see if the mileage on odometer is right or not,

does nissan has a way that i can check the mileage at dealer or something?

You can check the mileage by looking at the odometer.

 

I doubt you will find any tampering of the odometer. I have not heard of any special "key" that you can use from the dealer on our vehicles.

 

Do you have any repair/maintenance records? That would be one way to tell, but i highly doubt someone switched out the odometer. The car still has a couple years of being around before people start getting clever like that.

A Carfax report may show odometer fraud.

I think it would be something one would check before buying. Or if you are suspicious about the odometer, pass on this Z and find another.
