I've no prior accidents of any kind and no speeding tickets on my record.. so hopefully i should be fine!

Anyways, im on my way to work.. im making a left onto alpharetta highway.. there's a truck to my left.. so i pull o ut not seeing anything.. then i see a boosted integra.. flying like 70 mph down alpharetta highway.. stops and his brakes lock up and he skids like 2 car lengths and into my fender. ill probably need a new knuckle/control arm. definitely new front bumper and fender.. he'll need a new front bumper.. i got a failure to yeild ticket? oh well. So my co-worker ex-Army Ranger comes out and we make the best of the situation and make a funny video and take some pictures.. my pain is your pleasure. enjoy

that sucks. i would of been so mad at that integra. Good thing you didn't have real time attacks, they would of been scratched to hell. Hope you get everything fixed soon.

 

yea, luckily my best friend owns a body shop.. so everything will be fixed in like a week and ill be getting some new parts.. 8)!


the guy in the integra tried to cop an attitude with me "WHY THE **** DID YOU PU LL OUT MAN, WHAT THE ****"

he's alot smaller than me.. i told him he shouldn't have been going 80 in a 45 and he would have been able to brake maybe. and if he didnt calm down id be paying for his medical bills.

yea im fine.. i saw the integra try to come to a screeching halt.. if i had accelerated he probably would have hit my door and caused my airbag to go off.. then that would've cost a **** ton. Anyways.. he was going way above speed limit :\ turd.

yea.. he was boosted so probably his front mount too.. ***** had stock brakes on a boosted car.. no wonder he locked up and skid for 3 car lengths :|

 

Since he wasn't at fault he won't have to replace anything. At least from the sound of it the Integra was speeding, so it was the Integra driver's fault

 

yes, but there's no radar detector.. we can't PROVE he was s peeding.. ill have to replace his ****.. talk to his insurance already :\. Although skidmarks that range almost 3 car lengths should be proof enough that he was speeding? :\ oh well

 

Unfortunately, it doesn't matter how fast the integra was going - he had the right of way. Sorry to hear that man - time for more mods!

 

Get pics of said skid marks and have your ins. company investigate. If they find reason to believe that the other driver was at fault as well, they will not pay for his damages. I would look into that. Also did you recieve a ticket for failure to yeild right-of-way?

i already talked to the insurance company supervisor.. he said skidmarks wont prove anything other than he slammed his brakes to stop.. :\. i did get a failure to yeild right-of-way ticket.

 

Skid marks can also determine the speed at which a vehical was traveling. If the veh. speed was determined to be faster than the posted limit, that would prove that he was speeding(being at least 50% at fault for the accident).

 

that was my argument.. but there's no radar detector.. so we can't prove that, for all we know his brakes just locked up and skid.. they've dealt with this type of incident before.In order for him to get any fault he would have to admit to speeding or i would need a witness

 

A witness could be an investigator. If can prove without a doubt that the other party was speeding with his expertise, you would not need a radar or statement of guilt. If you feel that you should just let the ins take care of it, do so, but I would fight the ticket in court and try to get it dismissed.

 

yea, im going to try to fight the ticket in court too.. i might call another supervisor and see what's up. cuz it's definitely not 100% my fault.
