Default -155 lbs Here`s how

1. Ditch spare and jack = -40
2. Odyssey PC 680 battery = -15 or 20
3. Track rims instead of stock 18``s = -30
4. UR flywheel = -15
5. JIC single = - 50

Some are easier (<$) than others. I don`t know what test pipes weigh, but from what I hear that`s another 10 or 15 lbs off.

For the record, the stock cd player and speakers weigh almost nothing. I know nobody was considering taking it out, but I just thought I'd throw that out there.

I've had my stereo system stripped out for about 4 or 5 months now.

I would only listen to cds occasionally...so when the cd player crapped out I just took it all out. I was just waiting for a reason to remove it.

I did simular things to my Z. I removed the trunk carpeting spare and jack, subwoofer plates. Took off and removed the cubby in the back. Removed all sound insulation underneath carpets. Though it didn't really wiegh all that much. Left inteior plastic intact since it didn't really wiegh that much. Now the piece that goes behind the seats seems to wieght alot but i left it. Replaced stock exhaust parts with lighter parts. 13lbs flyweel, ligher wheels. I got a lighter than stock battery, but it isn't special, but it was lighter. I know there is such thing as a 3lb battery somewhere.

The car feels alot lighter just removing that stuff. You will like it.

Don't you ever get bored? Or is this your weekend/track car?
