Rotating mass reduction is the most effective weight reduction you can do. Who cares if you shave off 100 lbs from the Z. If you take off a mere 16 lbs on wheels (say about 4 lbs each wheel) you will notice your car accelerating faster, braking faster, turning faster, etc.
Same for the flywheel & crank. Do those as you need service performed if uwanna save cash.

What about !windows, !power windows motors and lexan windshield and rear hatch glass replacement.
Glass is heavy, so are motors.
Braile batteries are ~5 lbs
Not sure about the Z, but lots of cars can have excess weight removed from the engine cradle, and the suspension arms.
You could go crazy and get an aluminum rotor, but it's hardly a bolt-on.
!air bags
!windshield wiper fluid
!bumper brace (Next to nothing I know)
!HVAC system (evap, condenser, compressor, plumbing, heater core, squirrel cage, motor, etc...
!windshield wipers, linkage & motor
!passenger seat
(If building for 1/4 mile: !strut tower brace (F&R), !sway bars (F&R) )
ultralightweight 16" rims
For some extreme stuff, sector 111 has a lotus elise that weighs ~1650 lbs. Not an easy task, the elise is ultra-lightweight to begin with.
