When I got the car in october, people would come up to me everywhere!

Not as much now, but I still get my share, especially with the borla exhaust.

One time, about 3 months ago, I was coming home from the hospital on a friday night and I pulled in to get gas. This really beautiful chic pulls in to the pump in front of me. So I'm standing there in my lab coat pumping gas and she keeps staring over at me and the car, but I was trying to ignore her seeing as my wife bought me the Z in the first place! So she walks over behind her car, in front of the z and drops some change on the ground and BENDS OVER in fron of me to pick it up! Mind you, it's friday night, so she's wearing a short, tight, midriff shirt and tight black low-rise pants with the thong straps peaking out on the sides. So I control myself and get in the car and start to leave. I glanced over as I was leaving and she just looked at me shaking her head and mouthing "Damn" under her breath.

What a night. Glad my wife is hot too, or that would have been a VERY frustrating experience.

Yea the same thing happened to me too, except instead of a hottie it was a fat plumber in a wife beater and instead of a thong it was plumber's crack I too was able to control myself.

lol...help them out? lol

I think any girl over the age of 21 is going to be too mature about any car. Judging from the folks I hang around, a girl between the ages of 18 to 21 usually will let you know when they love a car. They're all over it like : "oh sh*t that car is sweeet!!" they have no shame.

But once they get a little older (trust me I've seen this) they play it off or say "wow that's nice" take a few glances and that's it!
A porsche..a bmw...a benz ..whatever, they don't pay no mind unless the driver was worth looking at or the sight of something really expensive excites them. (brand association, symbol status whatever)

A girlfriend once told me:
"some of us love cars as much as you guys do..but we can't just openly express it because it sends wrong signals to the driver. You don't want a scary guy asking you for his number when all you're doing is checking out his beautiful car"

If a buncha dewds think your car is awesome...then its truth...its awesome. If I wanted alot of attention from the ladies going "WTF??" I'd be driving a pink beetle.

shiet..where was I going with this...oh well

long live the Z

Went and saw 2Fast 2Furious today and managed to score pole position, parking outside the cinema. You can imagine how pumped the cinema goers were after seeing that movie. Well some young guy sees my Z parked so he heads over to the drivers side to look in the window. I was 2 feet behind him and following and he noticed me as he got to the drivers door. He says "is this your car? it's cool". I offer to let him sit in the drivers seat, but he was so embarresed that I "caught" him learing that he walked away quickly to catch up with his parents. Too dad bud.
Then when we got in the car, my fiancee notices a big forhead mark on her window. I wonder how many looks the car got while I was away.

How bout at the track? I went 3 weeks ago and everyone was staring and they wanted to see the interior. I would open the driver's door and they would be like "oooo, ahhhh", it was funny. When I staged, all eyes were on the Z.

The other day I launched the car hard off the line at a light. As I slowed down ahead and small compact drove by me. I looked over and a little boy (maybe 6-7yrs old), looked at me and gave me the thumbs up. I just chuckled.

Yes, people still point at the car everyday. It's a good feeling.

This morning on the way to work, I caught up to a CS Enthusiast and just stayed behind him for about 2 miles and stared and stared. I almost forgot I was even in my Z, doh'.

You don't know how right that girlfriend of yours was. I've checked out several seriously hot cars and many of those guys got the completely wrong impression. When they start making obscene gestures and asking me for my number while I'm driving, I get the hell outta there as quickly as I can!

I picked up my car this Sat. and while I was at the dealership, waiting for the PMI to be completed, this younger mom and her son come in (the kid is like 5 years old) and her son let's go of her hand and races right over the blue Z they had in the showroom and at the top his lungs shouts, "mommy, let's get this one!!!"

After the dealership I drove to a friends house to visit. While he and I are talking he points out his living room window, there is an old man (80 if he was a day) out on the sidewalk just staring at the Zin the driveway with a giant grin on his face.

Age make no difference, the Z makes a big impression.

hey 99allturbo, I do that too!

I still stare at other peoples Z's when I'm driving in mine. That's so weird!! I guess that means that you picked the right car, when you can't stop staring at it after like 9 months.

You know what funny? Women stare at the Z except for those that own Z's. Im serious, I pull up next to one and waive and never turn around. They stare straight ahead. Droid and I talked about this and says it is true. In Dallas, I have had only one chick actually catch up to me to waive. She was driving a blue one. It was not speedracer. Can anyone else verify my allegations?

When i decided on getting the 350 last month, i honestly just wanted an affordable true sports car i could play with.. you know, boyz and their toyz. But, after a month of stares and ppl wanting to see the inside, i only wish i had gotten the red one instead of the SS.

Ive become an attention ***** too !

GIMME !!! GIMME GIMME !!!!

I here ya, peeps in the DFW area in general tend to keep their heads pointed straight ahead while at a light or driving. Now when I lived in the San Diego and LA areas they look and they are the car capital of the US.

Default Hell ya!

you know, ever since the z first was a concept, i havent been able to see it enough, and still every time i pass one, i always have to follow it with my stare.....

and as for the comments before about the STI and the EVO....

i actually cant agree with you more, i couldnt decide between the two for a few weeks, then one day i woke up and said to my self.... "what the hell was i thinking!!!!! i have to get a z, hands down, no questions asked....." since then, every picture on my wall that wasnt a z, was ripped down..... well except for all of the hot celebs and the skyline pics

ahh, the power of Z
