Some of the stuff they do on that show is truly ugly, but some of it is pretty cool.
I wouldn't let someone "pimp" my ride without having any input, and I'm 20 years over their target age.
If I had a POS I wouldn't have a problem letting them do whatever they wanted. Even if you didn't like it the end result, it would still be better than what you started with. But to let someone go wild on my 350 would be tough.
Since they usually do $20K - $30K in parts, if you were going to show the car, it would be a great way to go. They usually only do cosmetic and stereo, so it would fit right in with most show cars.

It would be horrible at first. As radical as this sounds, maybe you can have them "pimp it out" then part out all the ricer crap they put on it and sell the ricer crap to real ricers, then use the ricer money to buy some actual tasteful mods................

They rarly do any mechanicals, unless is lowering a suspension. The only engine work I have ever seen them do is a VW motor swap.
Typically they do a radical paint job. Maybe suspension (for cosmetics only), wheels, interior redo, a super tricked out stereo install, and some kind of gimick on the car. (Fish tank, bubble maker, etc).
The cars they redo are total heeps. For a 350, who knows what they would do. Its not a typical car for the show, so maybe they are planning something different.
They are definatly not a performance tuner program. Its all show, no go.

Even if I was in the demographic I wouldn't consider letting them do anything to my car after watching the show this weekend.
They were doing a CRX. Put on a full body kit and paint. It looked pretty good until they put the car on a lift to do a motor swap. You could see they didn't paint the whole kit! After about an inch into the wheel well, the body kit was unpainted. The entire bottom edge of the sides and front clip were unpainted.
These guys do the car in a week. They obviously cut every corner imaginable. It might look good for the cameras, but the end product will most likly be sub-par. Sure if your car was a POS to start with, its an improvment, but to do that kind of work on a virtually brand new 350 would be a shame.
