Default The Thread every Z Driver doesnt want to Make.

I crashed my Z!
It wasn't my fault, blame it on the snow and the icy rain.

The first repair quote I got so far was for $3100.

<table style="width:194px;"><tr><td align="center" style="height:194px;background:url(http://picasaweb.google.com/f/img/tr...background.gif) no-repeat left"><a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/fish.whoa/FishLo350z?authkey=bT5oi7fTrLA"><img src="http://lh3.google.com/fish.whoa/R2hLwk_1wGE/AAAAAAAAAH0/BUUROoZDpoE/s160-c/FishLo350z.jpg" width="160" height="160" style="margin:1px 0 0 4px;"></a></td></tr><tr><td style="text-align:center;font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:11px"><a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/fish.whoa/FishLo350z?authkey=bT5oi7fTrLA" style="color:#4D4D4D;font-weight:bold;text-decoration:none;">Fish-Lo 350z</a></td></tr></table>

If the link above doesn't work...
I hope this url works....

How is driving your Z in the snow/ice without winter tires not your fault?

sorry to hear but it doesn't appear to be too bad. Best of luck on the repair process.

Geez, just hit a man while he's down!

No, actually I was trying to beat the storm, I was on my way home when it started snowing and ice rain. I was about a mile away from my house when I wrecked. A few hours later all the the snow and ice was gone.

why dont just wait a few hours rather than speed on ice and snow with no winter tires?!?!?! common sense??!?

sorry to say this but this is definitely your fault

Sorry about the crash. Those of us who have had a frightening 350Z snow experience know what happened.

Others will admonish you for your “poor skills.”

My first snow experience happened back in Dec 2002 with my 350z. I was at work when it snowed 6inches. Got stuck in the parking lot when going home. Luckily didnt hit anything. Took me couple hrs to go home when its a 1/2 hr commute. Bottom line is with stock summer tires never drive in the snow! I blame partly the dealer selling the car. There should be a warning about winter driving in the Z.

I live in Sayreville. Exit 11 on the turnpike. It happened right off exit 124 on the GSP, Saturday night during that ice/snow storm.

jeez a buncha cold hearted z owners on here. Sorry about your z, we all think we're the best driver's but most likely it would've turned out the same way regardless of the person behind the wheel. Hope everything goes smoothly for you from here on out.
