it's all how you think about things.

I ask why in the world would someone buy a car just to drive it 25k miles in 4+ years.

I bought the car to drive, it's not like it's a 150K+ car or something

I've got 98k on my 03 perf. I've been modded with bolt ons from 32k. In 2 years i went from 30k to 98k...have a few track days with it..and lots of auto-x, and i don't baby the car. Its running strong. The only things i've had to do was replace the clutch, front wheel bearings, brake parts. But those are related more to track use rather than normal wear. I don't burn oil..i think between oil changes i only am down maybe 1/2 a quart.

03 with 71,000 and she still has the new car smell. Although time and engines have changed some of the Nissan reliability on their cars haven't. I also have a 93 Altima with 215,000 that I bought in 92 and she runs great too after running at 100+ mph on the Autobahn in Germany for over 13 years. Just ensure that the upkeep is maintained and it will keep going.

55,550 on my 04.5. About to change the plugs and belts because they look pretty scary.

I think that 100,000 miles on these cars compared to Mustangs and Camaro's is like really having 50,000 miles. My friends Mustangs that are at around 80k dont sound like there gonna make it to 100k. Its amazing how the japs can design an engine and it runs like the day you drove it off the lot at over 100,000 miles.

Cool thread. My '04 has 62,000 miles on it. The new engine has about 5,000 miles on it. Kinda feel like I have a new car w/ the new motor. Hope to get a second car or bike here soon to keep the miles down a bit.
Funny thing is...I'll probably still drive the Chit out of my Z even w/ a second car.
