I cleared 92k last weekend. Oil Change was 2 weekends ago....and it'll be due again at 93.5k. When I first got the car....I was doing about 3k a month give or take. So if this might be a new record for me.

I think Sloe Truk had 120-130k on his before Nissan swapped his engine for him.

a honda dealership in greensboro nc has a civic (95-99 generation im guess) that had 500K. they had it in their used car showroom, and the thing was cleaner and more well kept that most people's 80K mile cars. looked pristine and ran fine (or so i was told, they cranked it in the showroom but thats all we could do obviously)

At 97,000mi. on my 04.5. I did get the engine replaced at 50,000 under warranty. Helps soften the 100,000 blow a little.

2003 Track Model has 140K on the clock. Only about 20K on my new Built Motor.

So where does that put me? third place winner?

I'm close to 70k miles on my 03 enthusiast now and it is running great on the original drivetrain. I'm wondering... for all of you guys that had your motor replaced before 100k miles, what was the reason for replacing the motor? Was it due to excessive oil consumption, or something more serious like spun rod bearings?
I have always had Japanese cars (most of them high performance/turbocharged) and never thought of 100k miles as being "a lot of miles"... but everybody on here acts like a 350z with 100k miles is a miracle and must be on it's last leg.
