I've heard of them. I'm on s2i.com and from what I've read they don't seem to be trust worthy guys I'd find another shop. Here is the thread:

Good luck with spending +10k to start over with a new motor from scratch with like 300hp or whatever it has. Waste of money.
You could build your vq for that much money and probably have it able to handle.
How much are you planning o on spending on the 2jz as far as mods go?
Just admit your spending/wasting extra money to get the same amount of HP and ill shut up lol.
Your doing it to be unique/different right? You dont honestly think youll save any money do you?

i believe his main concern are modded SRT4s at the redlight or drag strip. he wants the 350z body with some power so he can drag race

I personally think an LS motor would look way better in the engine bay over a 2jz but thats just my personal preference.

WHile it would be wayyy cheaper to just build your bottom end then turbo the VQ and make more than enough power to lay waste to most of the normal "street racers" out there. i do agree that the 2JZ is going to make a **** ton of power, but then again we see 1000hp Supras run 11's or worse all the time lol

i live right down the road form the S2k-2jz guy and he is not trust worthy at all. I've heard so many bad stories. GL with the build but i'd find someone else to do the swap.

bro take it from me....it always takes longer and costs more than you expect...and then you mod the new engine...

i am all for motor swaps but be prepared to spend 2-3X what they quote you....

the 2JZ with that turbo and it's Getrag 6 speed w/ full accessories weighed in at 89 lbs less than the VQ twin turbo he had in there with the auto trans. I know because I weighed the two myself, as this was a concern of the customer. On our corner weight scale system, the car is 2% closer to 50/50 weight distribution than with the VQ.

that engine bay looks clean!

Point number two;
stock 2jz > stock vq35
600hp mild build 2jz <<<< 600hp mild build vq35

third even if you do get the car running for 8k youll still have a crappy stock heavy *** engine and a max hp with boost controller and maybe more will be hmm about 400hp. A boosted stock vq with greddy tt would have a much better powerband than the peaky 2jz.

ALso, say you want to build your 2jz lets consider this. 20k dumped into your stock motor vs 20k dumped into swap and then having the engine built first it would be obvious which would be better.

But then again put your money where your mout is and proove me wrong why dont you.... id like to watch.
