there are several very reputable turners in the FI forum on the East Coast and I think one in Florida. Becarefull who you will take it to or else you will regret it. I learned form experience.

Yes I have heard of 50/50 Racing I used to own a Honda S2000...A few people have went to them to have this done...End result was was yes the motor fit...To get everything running correctly it took thousands more...They make it seem like a easy swap but its not...Why a 2jz? The VQ is a better motor...For the money your going to spend twin turbo it...

I dont really like to post links, but here is a good one where this topic of VQ vs 2jz has been hashed already.

wow, you are truly too fast too furious doing a swap because you keep losing your little street races in a car that was never designed as a drag racing car in the first place.

its all up to you.
if your going to do an engine swap why don't you stay in the same company and just get the rb26dett, but then again i have seen some 240s with the rb, just my opinion. its your money your going to do what you want, so have fun with it.

This thread sucks.
First, This topic has been debated and threads have been made on this go do research.
Point number two;
stock 2jz > stock vq35
600hp mild build 2jz <<<< 600hp mild build vq35
third even if you do get the car running for 8k youll still have a crappy stock heavy *** engine and a max hp with boost controller and maybe more will be hmm about 400hp. A boosted stock vq with greddy tt would have a much better powerband than the peaky 2jz.
ALso, say you want to build your 2jz lets consider this. 20k dumped into your stock motor vs 20k dumped into swap and then having the engine built first it would be obvious which would be better.
But then again put your money where your mout is and proove me wrong why dont you.... id like to watch.

I'm honestly not bashing you im just being realistic. I will be humbled if you prove me wrong and I am happy to see you are trying. +1 for being different and I wish you luck. Please post pics when your done. And yes the 2jz can get 900hp so can the vq *rolling eyes* IMHO 900hp 2jz isnt as nice as a 900hp VQ, if you want any low end or usable power anyway.
plus im willing to bet it would be cheaper to build a 900hp vq monster than to go through an engine swap plus build the 2jz.
Not to mention weight distribution and power curve. Goodluck though.

Also, the last VQ I saw over 900hp was FAR from street legal, and the odds of seeing one on the street as compared to a Supra are about 1,000 to 1.
