You know the MOD fever is starting all over again with a new car coming!

So far I have gotten in a Halltech Killer Bee Intake, and a kit to hardwaire and mount my BEL radar detector. Next i will be ordering the MGW short shifter, MOMO Airrace shifter ball. I will probably get a Jim Hall email tune after the intake is in. 3rd party Results have been posted showing approx 26 RWHP/15 lbs torque increases with just the intake and mild tune. Total cost about a grand.(includes tuner software for laptop and the tune source file)

Who knows what will come later. Stock 436HP is already pretty impressive may not need much more except for braggin rights...

Heck yeah... Looking back, I wish I would have spent the extra $ for the C6. Good choice.

The LS3 is more than a match for the M5! As for a sedan, don't need one so why bother.

I have the Z51 suspension and it rides and handles better than my Hotchkiss equipped Z.

It's been a month of ownership now, and I gota say the car is great. Is it perfect? Of course not but neither was the Z and I still thinks it's a great car. The power/torque feels limitless and it handles twisties like nobody's business. I know I made a great choice for a successor to the 350Z.

Thanks all here that made my time with the Z more valuable. Good luck to all!

I truly hope you have better luck than I with your new corvette. Vettes are/were great cars, had two of them in the past. This is my first 350Z and so far, it's great.

Again, congrats and good luck.
you must not have seen the other thread of a guy buying a vette..

Enjoy the Corvette, you'll love it. My last four cars, in order, were 1996 Z-28/SS, 2000 Camaro SS, 2001 C5 Corvette and a 2005 C6 Corvette that I traded for the 07 350Z. The Corvette is a torque monster and an entirely different car to drive. You're gonna dig it.

I like the "new car smell too much" and didn't want to spend/couldn't justify the extra $30K for a new Z06. The Coupe has plenty under the hood and handles great.

Coupe = 4 sec to 60, 190 top speed, 12's in 1/4 mile
Z06 = 3.7 sec to 60, 198 top speed, 11's in 1/4 mile

Too close for $30K difference! For $10K I would have been all over it.

My thoughts exactly. The new 370Z will need to be a monster to keep me out of a Vette in the next 22 months.

Good luck man. The '08 Vettes have been given a nice performance upgrade, one that I wasn't expecting actually, so I don't think you will regret it.

Keep the Z I have kept every car I have purchased since I was 16. I am in my 30's now and buy a car every two to three years on average.

If you already own something why sell it??? Unless you need the space or the money.

Guy with the most stuff wins at the end.
