Although black is my color of choice, after owning a black car I decided to go with the gray. Black is too hard to keep clean on a daily driver.

 

I know I said I love Le Mans, But damn, that new red is crazy. I love red on the Z's, so sporty looking....

 

My favorite car color is a nice deep candy red. But I love black cars...but so much a pain in the @ss to keep nice. I have my daytona blue Z that I love oh so much too!

 

Daytona Blue is the money shot. I like how everyone likes the black and silver... less DB's on the road, for the proverbial win.

The elitism continues... Its not enough that as Z owners we already think our cars are the best thing ever... then we argue about how the DE>Rev-Up>HR... now its "my color rocks and yours is stupid" haha whats next, "if you don't have leather seats, you are a piece of shat!"

 

If I had my choice it would've been "PPW" (White). But I had difficulty finding a Z let alone one in the colour I wanted. At least I got a cool interior colour

I don't really think there is a "bad" stock color for the Z. I even like the 07 Orange.

 

As a young man I owned 5 red cars in a row. But now as an older man I don't have the time to dedicate in keeping the car looking really clean. I used to polish my red paint 4 times a year and wash every week.

My last two cars have been white. They look clean for quite a long time. They don't need polish as often as red or black and the car doesn't get so hot inside in the summer time.

But I still like how the black and red cars look. (If I had a black or red Z the first thing I would do is get a clear bra for the front because with any dark color the road chips show up immediately).

Same here. I'm glad, tho. We got a great deal on ours, since the dealer couldn't sell it. So I'm glad it's not popular. We were able to get a Z sooner and we have a bit of exclusivity. Besides, I buy a color because I like it, not because others do. Having said that, just about everyone who has seen our car loves the color.

 

ULTRA-YELLOW!! you guys have to admit that this yellow used in the 05' Z is a head turner... people look at my car first instead of the Porsche parked next to it!!! love that color

 

i have the black but....i only got it cause my boyfriend and brother told me to get a black...should of gotten the pikes peak white....regrets!!!

+1.. Same thing happened to me.. I went to the dealer offered me a Kick *** deal on my Solar Orange. I've had a black SRT-4 (pain in the *** to maintain the color) and a White STI. It was time for a change. Last time I checked I'm the one making payments on my car. There will always be haters...
When I had the SRT-4 it was cause "I was driving a NEON"...with the STI "The Evo is better"..now with the Z is the color. Whatever. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. As you said...everyone that has seen the car in person loves it.

 

DB would of been my number one pick in all honesty. Back is sex too but for a Z i like DB...
