Default Rough Ride

I have noticed in the last few weeks my z seems to have a rough ride when driving on uneven roads. Any body had the same problem. I let some air out of the tires but did not help or does the z have a normal rough ride. It seems i feel every bump.

Thanks:

Ya on an uneven road the ride is rough. Its Sport tuned suspension. You'll get used to it.

Its a sports car...what do you expect? A Cadillac suspension? I guess one way to tell its not just your particular Z is ride in someone else's. Do you have coilovers, springs, rims???

350Z suspension is excellent.
U S roads are crummy.

My 07 rides pretty smooth far the most part, unless it its a real bad road. Even then its not too bad for a sports car.

Sports car + uneven road = rough ride...

This is obvious...

If you want a comfortable ride... buy a Cadillac.

hmmm I wonder how Idaho roads compare to New York. I know as soon as you cross the Oregon boarder, the roads immediatly improve 100%, our roads suck, probably not the worst though.

look at it this way, the Z is telling you the road is shitty, that way, you dont do anything to crash the car. Otherwise it may feel smoother than it really is, then bammo, you lose conrol, game over.

The 03-05 rides rougher then the 06-07s they got all the good upgrades, but my Touring is not bad on a good road, but rough roads or poorly paved roads it rides rough. I've owned just about every Z-car since the 280ZX and this is the roughest riding of the group but its also the best handling and most powerful N/A motor. As I mentioned the 06-07 are better and the 03-05 Track are worst then the Base and Enthusiast, the Track has the tightest unders suspension.

There was a thread about this yesterday saying the suspension on all trims is the same. Regardless, the ride is pretty stiff!

+1. I like the feel of the sport car suspension. When I drive my wife's Honda suv I feel like I'm driving on jello. My wife complains she feels every bump when she comes along with me for a ride in the Z. So it goes.

Either get over it and get used to it or get something else.

I really don't understand these types of threads. I'm going to start a thread in a fishing forum and ask why my fish dies every time I take it out of water.
