I can't imagine having two of the same car when I can spend the money on another car. If I were to buy a second car, it'd still be a Z, but it'd be a 300ZX TT.

I have an 03 coupe and 06 roadster. The ZR is for pleasure riding when its sunny and warm. The coupe is better when I have to go on campus etc. It doesn't snow much around here but if it did I mat regret my choice. With gas steadily climbing, I may trade the coupe but very little out there can give the thrill, gas mileage etc as my Z. I can get 30 mpg from the Z if driven respectfully. The only reason thus far to trade the Z will be if something comes along with a back seat that makes me want switch. I looked at the G and the money made me shy away. I looked at the Mustang and it just didn't handle to my liking, Closest fit was the RX-8 and the wife wanted it, and I brought it home for a test weekend. Then a cousin came over with his Jetta VR6 and ate my lunch. Yes I could catch him in the cornes but simply have to wave buy in anything that approached a straigt. Final word wife said get another Z hard top for me. Desision made. She sometimes looks back at the 8 and forgets just as fast as she passes the gas station.

Z ftw simply because its a hard package to beat. It has looks, performance, decent gas mileage considering, and fantastic road handler.

I'd like to buy a roadster and transfer everything from my current Z to it And then use the Z I have now as a daily.

I kept my SRT4 when I bought my Z so I haven't had the urge to buy another Z yet. Give me time and that might change since my Z only has 3,000 miles on it.

Yeah this is maybe the best route to go but around here the Audi's are high if awd and the subbie/evo just are a little to toyish for me. If price is right I may check into a MS6

Honestly, you should get a different but comparable sports car (I'd go for a WRX). That way you have two different driving experiences whenever you want them. That would be way better than two Zs (I love my Z, btw).

WRX is a **** car. I wouldn't be caught dead owning one. And people seem to be missing the point: the second car will be very inexpensive and high mileage. Don't wanna' spend more than 15k on it.

I got my 2001 for 10.5 less than 100k on it. They are very fun and a blast to mod it.

Bottom line: It's your money and your decision. You are the one that has to live with your choice. None of our opinions really matter much at all, unless you're not strong enough to go with your gut and need validation.

If it's what you want, go for it. Life is too short.

Eh I guess if I were to buy a second it would be an 08' Nismo Z...But theres a few other nice cars in the 28k-40k range that would be nice to have instead of another Z...just to have some variety.
