i got my nismo intake, aam angled spacer, and test pipes installed and it took about 2 hours start to finish! i thought it was goin to be alot harder but the plenum spacer was a piece of cake.. i must say i didnt notice too much of a difference in power. i mena it def pulls harder top end but i was honestly expecting more. would i see more out of a tune?? i like to do drifting and it helps alot when it comes to topend and staying sideways... if i were to tune should i just use a utec or are there better tunes and/or chips to install?

yeah, those mods feel like a loss of torque big time. This is why my car is going back to stock until i go F/I.

A custom tune always helps vs. no tune, becasue even from the factory each car is different. HP for example is an average of all the cars coming off a production line. Some will have more and some less HP. So, yes, the custom tune will help, but based on the little mods you have I would not bother. It's called the "law of dimishing returns". You will put more money into the tune than it's worth in terms of hp gains with the mods you have.

 

thats kinda what i was thinking because its about 500 for a custom tune and thats free retuneing after. i want to go single turbo eventually. not sure on what setup tho. i was expecting the test pipes to make my car alot louder but its not even that different i have the stillen exhaust with test pipes and its just a little raspier that it use to be. (my last was a lightning with no cats)
