Front Fascia Bra
anyone here gonna buy the bra for the front of the car? i think it looks really sweet, but i hear that sun discoloration is a possibility when you use these bra's (i.e when you take the bra off after several months the color under the bra is different from the rest of the car because it was not hit by the sun).
also does anyone know how much it is, and do you think it will look ok on a daytona blue Z?

As for discoloration it will happen if you have the car out in the sun a lot, I have a bra on my current car for two years and no difference in color but it is garaged and rarely sits in the sun for long periods of time, so if you have to park in the sun at work or home I would suggest a car cover, not just for the discoloration difference with the bra but to prevent discoloration of the car period.
As for looking good on the Blue, I am getting blue also and I am trying to buy a bra that matches the color of the car, I have one now for my current car but since the Z is not out yet the company doesn't have the bra yet.

I like the idea of protection, but I want to see the whole car. The bra covers up the sweet look of the front fascia. Not for me.

Bra's can cause the clearcoat to get spots or look milky because they trap the moisture underneath them. Also you have to make sure that it is stretched very very tight or else the paint will get damaged from the wind buffeting. I'm probably going to go with the 3M film on the bottom fascia up to the seam on the hood so it won't be visible. And definitely getting the 3m for the headlights to protect those pieces of ART.
I am not getting any type of front protection. I just don't think they are worth the money or hassle to add one. If the front takes a beating, I'll have a pro paint shop go over the chips or dents which need paint.
I prefer the stock look and a few dings here and there don't bother me.
