So I am sad to report that I will not be receiving my car until the end of the month. I placed my order on March 29th.

So check it.

I called the dealer because any day I was expecting delivery on a SS Enthusiast. So I call the dealer and here's the scoop.

When I placed the order they had to wait for an allocation to become available for them to place my order (new Nissan Dealer) so once that took place they missed the build date for the 2003's (plant shutdown). So to make a long story short I will be getting my car at the end of the month. Get this it will be the 2004 model. Now that would make it one of the first 2004's out there. But my question is why the hell wasn't I notified that the order was a big cluster bomb.

So in the long run I may actually have to wait just about 90 days which isn't so bad, but could have been better. Another couple of weeks of waiting.

My guess: you weren't notified because your dealer was afraid you'd go somewhere else. Now that they've strung you along for awhile, you have no choice but to get it from them, or else wait even longer. Or maybe they didn't know, or they did know and didn't put any thought into it at all. Any way you slice it, it's not looking good on their part!
