Default 16 and getting a Z? Instead, who had the worst first car?

Mine was an automatic **** blue 1991 Ford Escort with food and garbage covered floors. My mom bought it for me for $500 instead of a 16th birthday party. The front tires wore out so I put 13in silver steelies off of an '88 Honda Civic on the front. Talk about pimp.

mine was a late 80's sky blue station wagon with darker blue cloth bench seats. Every morning when i made my usual right turn to go to school at the bottom of my street the car would stall. I got about 12 miles/gallon in that beast. I even got side swiped but since the car was solid metal and a boat it just put a few dents in and i rolled like that....this sweet machine was later replaced by an early 90's olds cutlass that was brown with an uglier lighter brown bench seat interior.

I got a '96 Korando Ssangyong for my 18th birthday (Non-US resident).
It had 101000km on her, and had a 5cyl Diesel powertrain from Merc Benz.
Not available in the US so look it up if you're curious hehe..

To be honest it's still my daily driver (gets GREAT mileage). Next to her in my garage is my new '05 350Z (Nismo upgrade package) and my '07 Mustang GT.

94 subaru legacy, which had a leaky sunroof and everytime it would rain, i'd have the water dripping on my right arm. eventually, i just stapled garbage bags on the roofliner and then junked it for an 01 honda accord.
Ahhhh....Memories!!

1996 Infiniti G20... not too shabby, but it was basically a glorified Sentra.

1973 F100 custom. Red/white cab, green bed. Passenger floorboard was rusted through, I could ash out of it. Motor was a built 390 though. 4mpg ftw!

1996 Dodge Intrepid.

All things considered it was a great car. There wasn't anything the least bit sexy about it, but my parents gave it to me for free with around 95-100K miles on it. The interior was a little beat up, it had a problem with drifting to the left ever since my mother ran it into hugh concrete block curbing and smashed up the control arm and cracked the front rotor in two, and toward the end in developed an annoying misfire that wouldn't go away no matter what I did to it (replaced plugs/wires, replaced ignition coil, reset ECU, everything), and the radio died and had to be replaced with some crap part I got off of Amazon which only lasted about six months before it died too, but it was free, it was drivable, and the thing was unstoppable in bad weather.

You really gotta post up your ages and first cars. If you're 40 years old and you tell me you got a 1988 car...then it might have been a nice first car. Ya know?

I remember driving my sister's piece of crap Suzuki Sidekick with the top broken off to work one day and of course it started to pour. Needless to say, I ended up nearly drowning and thinking I was going to be electrocuted by her Sony Xplode head unit probably worth more than the whole car.
