Z arrives with the wrong options..Possible?
Is anyone worried that their Z will arrive on schedule but with the wrong options? Such as the wrong interior or exterior color choice. Has anyone experienced this when ordering a car from the factory? What if the wrong data was entered into the computer. Is this a legitimate concern or is it an extremely rare occurence and nothing to loose sleep over?
Highly unlikely. If you received the right confirmation, you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Plus Nissan has to do this right, they have a lot riding on this car. So you can understand that they will be pretty strict with their attention to detail. But anything can happen. I wouldn't lose sleep over it.
He is probably like me, who made color/options changes after the original order, was sent the old info on the confirmation, yet was told by the dealer that they showed all the new info on the order.
When you deal with a Dealership anything is possable.
I am a little concerned tha my dealer ordered a Touring model instead of a Performance Model. The reasoning for this is my invoice/agreement shows the MSRP of a Touring with all the options I ordered. My fault since I should have checked the MSRP when I got home. If this has happned I will not be too upset (Touring is nice but I did not want the sound system due to weight and besides I have been told I will not be modifing or changing anything on this car
) but the invoice is to the penny what a Touring would cost.
I will know more tomorrow when I go to the dealership and compare notes.

Many of us, me included, still have not yet received a written confirmation from Nissan with the exact specs. I have a verbal confirmation from NNA, but that is all. Supposedly, the marketing company sending them out missed about half the pre-order crowd.
