I honestly don't think too highly of the S2K. First, they do not have any torque or what so ever unless you go FI. Even if you do, its like a ticking time bomb ready to blow since the Compression ratio is fairly high. I test drove my Co-worker's 2005 S2K, and I was very disappointed at the fact that i had to rev the crap out of the thing to get going. On top of that, there was no torque curve. For two, S2K is fairly small, so i felt quite cramped. Three, sigh......, its a convertible. Once you flip that thing, basically, you are asking for mercy from god. Yes, it might handle well, but its the all around capability of the car that wins the buyers, not how well it handles. Thats why i purchased a Z instead of S2k. Not only that, too me, Z looks 100x better than S2K when its mod correctly.

I have an 2000 S2000 and use to have a 2003 Touring 350Z before trading it in on a NISMO Z. I have tracked both my S2000 and my 2003 350Z. I felt that the handling of my S2000 was better. After driving my NISMO Z I would have to say that at this point I feel its a toss up as far as handling. I am looking forward to bringing my NISMO to the track in April since that is where the handling makes a real difference.
