Am I the only one that's having problems with this site being VERY slow? This problem existed for me prior to the recent troubles regarding message counts and replies etc. If I had to guess the reason, I'd say that the forum software and related database are on a very slow or overloaded server. I have a high speed connection and other sites run just fine. It's not net traffic for sure, because I'm usually here between 4 and 6 AM EST and that's the lowest traffic time.

Just thought that I'd pass this along, because content-wise I really like this site, but the slowness makes it very frustrating to use.

 

its going incredibly, anoyingly slow, and i too am using it at odd hours. Also the sight has been messed up for days now.....

 

We're supposed to be moving to a bigger better hosting service.

 

yep, i noticed it as well.

just after it was fixed, i think it was very fast.

recently (as in now), its getting really really slow...
