Question

Where did they put the radiator? It must be air cooled like old Porsches...right .

I am extreamly impressed. And they have an advantage from us, because I am sure the car was built in Japan, where they probably took parts off the GTR at will.

Excellent Job, does anyone know who built this car?

I doubt it, this is a SERIOUS modification. Much respect for Batlground and whoever built this car. Poweraddict is right they're at a major disadvantage simply because of the logistics of getting the parts. I don't know the kind of money involved in a mod like this AWD version, but I'd be willing to bet it's more than I make in a year.

omg!!! i wet my pants j/k when i saw that rb motor in the Z!!! how much money do u thik i'll need for something like this? if it's a good deal i might be one of the next people inline to get this swap done. i'm thinking if this is gonna cost me alil more then getting a tt what the hell and i won't have to wait till my car's warranties abt to end to make any serious mods. i'm a fan of the rb motor, that i know i can trust. i mean come on it comes from a GT-R SKYLINE!!

post any #s u get. it would be helpful in me making a final decision!

I didn't mean an AWD conversion, I was only talking about the RB motor. Batlground's 350Z is RWD.

According to the Batlground in another thread, they quoted $13,000 for the conversion. If it does become more common, it will be cheaper.

First off, I want to state that the camera I used is probably the worst digital camera ever invented. So unfortunately many of my pictures turned out fuzzy. I'm really upset about this. My camera batteries were dead so I had to borrow one. Hopefully, someone with a better camera got some pics. Anyways, here we go.

It's hard to tell, but the Japanese mechanic, was very happy with his job.

I know, my camera sucks. Front drivers side, remember it's a RHD.

Apparently this spare RB26 is better as a seat.

My friend at Tein USA sent me some pics (the pics on this thread are better). Tein's R&D technician is there right now at Pike's Peak. From what i understand, the car is running too hot at the upper elevations. They have swapped motors twice already. Here's a pic of the interior.

Not that anybody cares, but here's one of me with the silver Fairlady.

I've got about 10 more pictures of the drivetrain, but they might as well of been pictures of a Toyota Corolla as bad as the pictures turned out.

My friend was there also because he was invited to go with his sponsor, Power Enterprise.

Anyways, those cars were shipped from Japan.

With some cameras, you have to hold still for a little while after you snap the shot. We have an Elph something or another that uses APS film, and we have to hold for about 2 seconds before moving again.
