Default got some questions

Ok guys I got about a $4500 budget to spend on stuff for my z. Im going external mods only. I’m thinking about going with a set of black ruff 280’s and the JP aero kit type A. keeping the same paint job. Let me know what you think if you would go another way.
One more thing: I’m not looking to go FI rite now and I’m not going with a set of $3000 rims.

Rota makes some pretty good, inexpensive wheels...

oh i would certainly go another way.....it's called the engine bay! i could see a hood or some wheels but if you intend on spending all that on body kits, fenders and blah blah blah, you're crazy!

don't skimp on wheels. you don't want them shattering if you hit a pot hole too hard.

not saying you should spend $3k on them.. but just do your research and go for something substantial.

Not a big fan of Ruff wheels at all, if you don't want to drop the $$$ on new, expensive wheels, look in the classified section for used wheels....most Z owners take really good care of their wheels and you'll get one hell of a good deal!

Get you some speedy octane's, or stern wheels, if u want to go with black, they are cheap and u can spend the rest on bolt-ons

anyone that has spent money on a body kit is a moron. sorry. its just like slapping a turbo sticker on an NA car. making the car appear to be something it's not.

please dont buy a body kit. dear god please.

I'm gonna have to agree. Don't get a body kit, it's a huge pain in the *** trying to keep it in good condition when you could have spent your money elsewhere. I say this with experience having had an eclipse with a full bodykit and I had to replace the bumper 3 times. There's always that pothole you didn't see or the hit and run in the parking lot that will give you problems.

personally i'd use the money to mod the engine. .i'd rather beat a Civic then look better than one.. .

Dont put a crazy *** kit on the Z though. .the cars already Sexy as it is. .but perhaps a nice lip kit like that front greddy in the 1st pic is nice. .
im doing a lip kit to my black Z as we speak. .front and side greddy/ still looking for the rear, but i also bought the top stillen spoiler as well. .
But my engine comes 1st!

I'd take that 4500 and buy a nice rim and tire combo.

i have to agree with the guys on the upkeep of the bodykits for sure! i had an rsx-s before my z33 and i had a c-west full kit on it. it was the worst mistake of my life....believe me please! even if i had all the $$$$ in the world i would never waste it on a kit again. good luck though and do what you will, it's your car bro! i like nice looking cars but anything maxed out on mods is always much more appealing to me imo.
