Default Who is in the $5K and up club???

So who on the board had spent $5k or over on aftermarket stuff for their Z? I've spent a little over $6k on my Z to date and I still have more things to buy. Reason why I am asking is because seeing other people spend money on their Z makes me feel less guilty about spending so much. It's like therapy for me. So come on guys and gals, lets do some group therapy.

I'll start,

My name is importriders and I'm a Z shopaholic.

Tee Hee Hee. Ask me again in about a month. I'm in the middle of a sale of my other car and it's making me crazy having to wait.

If I count the Audio system and car computer I am around th $8K mark. This includes the borla system that should be at my door stepp in 2 weeks. After that I plan to wait till the begining of next year for the SC and Turbos to prove themselves.

But, the car has provided me with nothing but 's.

Mod on, moddas!

Default damn 6K already?

You guys are just as nuts as me with my M3 13K deep. How much are the winnings going for with tires? They're only around 3K or at least that's what I've been told.

Its best to just stop counting, as long as the car is moving in the direction you want it to be or your not wasting money, its all good.

Hehe that goes to show the theory that no matter how much you paid for the sports car... chances are, you still are gonna mod it to make to better, faster, and cooler.

We had some people saying "damn I won't spend more than 10K on my Z, cause that will get me a Z06"... but I bet once you get a Z06... it'll be the same line all over...

I've spent a peasily 2.8K and enjoying every dollar of it so far.

Default that is so true

I haven't even begun engine mods like euro headers, cams, software and intake which will be $$$. For 2K, you can make a z06 dyno over 400 to the wheels easy and kill everything on the road. I like the Z and it can be costly as well.

Oooo...Z mod-a-holic club!!! I like that Aloha. Pretty soon we are gonna have to start the $10k and up club. I'm sure we have members in that club already.

Anyways, to answer the SF winnnings question. The rims alone go for about $2200-$2500 depending on where you go, then add another $1k for tires.

Okay, I just did a total of what I've done so far and what I will be doing when I get the cash for my other car. I'll be in the 8K range easy--and that's with some awesome deals I've found here! Wow, that stuff adds up fast and I've got more on my list, just waiting for more real world testing first.

I've got $50 in rubber floor mats and $3.60 in stick on spot mirrors. Do you have a $100 club I can set my sights on?
