Thanks I will keep checking out the airlines. I know the price seems to change everyday. Maybe I can get lucky and get a good deal. That would be a plus getting to check everything out before I leave the dealership. I was told everything is working perfectly. It is a huge dealership with other sister dealerships. I would hope they sell only quality cars. This was from a volvo dealer and they have a few other Z roadsters on their BMW lot.

Thats not bad at all. Plus the dealer said they would give me a full tank when I leave the dealership. That would bring costs down even more.

The suggestion about checking the weather is right on. I had mine shipped in similar circumstances . Your time is worth something, and you can use the days in the summer for a trip on your terms. Also, having it shipped saves those miles for your benefit. And no airline food. The only downside to getting it shipped is if there is damage, so make sure all the insurance/bonds are in place.

Well I talked to the shipping company last night. They said the price of shipping it is good but they can't find any drivers. They told me they have no idea when the car might be picked up.

I decided to book a flight and will start the drive back this Friday! At least this way I can check everything out and make sure it is in perfect working order. It will be some good bonding time lol. Just me the car and the magellan gps
