So you seem to have two threads going to help you buy a Z... tell us the five major pints you want to have with your car EX: color... will you be doing mods... what is the purpose for... weekend warrior or Daily Driver? salesman should be there to help you point and figure all of this out. if not, The Salesman is a D bag and does not deserve your business.

 

I love my performance trim coupe. I wouldn't have done anything different. The only things I haven't been perfectly happy with have been the power window motors (replaced the pass. side twice-both under warr. from Nissan) and the driver's side once out of warranty but went to autozone and got one with a lifetime warranty. That and the transmission feels pretty notchy from time to time. No problems yet but if I ever do that won't make me terribly happy, . Otherwise though, I love the car.

I've got a 350Z and I should have saved up for a GT-R (was at Geneva Car Show this afternoon)

No seriously I know why I have chosen my Zs equippment and I am perfectly happy with my choice.

I thought I wanted AT- I got manual

I bought my Z on a whim one Saturday... I learned how to drive it on the test drive....

If you have a choice go manual... if I can learn and enjoy so can you..

 

I bought my Z a little over 2 months ago, so far I'm enjoying the ride (and the decisions). It took a little time to find a 6spd Grand Touring with Navigation (seemed most Z's with Nav were automatics), and after seeing Carbon Silver in the last two Int'l car shows, I knew that was the color for me. When a 2008 CS GT popped up locally, I was all over it. Dealership opened at 10am... I was there at 9am...
