I work for a Chevy dealership. I drove a 2008 Z06. Man what a beast. The Vette is sow much lower than the Z, but feels too refined. Steering is boring and too 'easy'. I love the heads up display though. Good car, clean V8 muscle and sound.

if I were going to trade my Z for anything it would be a C6 Z51 Vette...closet supercars. excellent choice mate, enjoy it.
and that Ford GT that costs 3x as much only beat the Z51 C6 by like 3 seconds around VIR :P the 08' is up 30 horsepower and like 50 lb ft. id say itd be even closer
