I'd call it more racist than anything.... if the Z was made by GM the note would be different...but in saying that the note wouldnt exist as many of us wouldnt have bought the car in the first place.

A german mechanic who is a friend of the family back in Europe (I'm Czech, living in Australia) who works for BMW says nothing is beating the technology comming out of Japan atm.

I reakon it was one of those ultra-proud patriotic folk who can't accpet foreign-ness (I couldn't think of a word there haha).
