Um, actually whatever GM he's driving is more than likely foreign garbage. Doesn't he know how many GM plants they have in China right now?

There is foreign garbage, foreign quality, domestic garbage, and domestic quality, and tons of "mutts" out there. The foreign content in many "domestic" cars is unbelievable! At least I know my car was 100% something, even if it is Japaneese. We are living in a global market now. Some will never understand that. At least he scribbled a note with a crayon instead of vandalising your car. Gotta give the guy credit for that much.

Another typical "buy american" statement from a hill billy. Little does this imbecile know that General Motors is one the biggest Global companies in the world.

I bet he couldn't spell very good because he was very emotional at the time he wrote this masterpiece. He probably wrote it and hurried back to his Kia.

Do I like Nascar? Not really. Is it considered athletic? I would say yes. These guys have to sit in a car for 5 hours with the heat sometimes getting over 100 degrees in the cabin all while trying to win a race. I bet you couldn't do it.

Congratulation in winning track events. Normal people buy cars based on reliability and design not whether a fiber glass shell over a race chassis and engine win races. Unfortunately (I'd like to buy an American car if they weren't all junk) the big three have not produced many cars that fall into either of those categories. I wish I could buy American cars but I don't have the money or patience to continuously have them in the shop. My wife drives a Chevy Equinox (2005) and with only 34K miles on it the computer crapped out. I used to sell cars too and it is amazing the number of 07 Dodge, Chevy, or Ford vehicles had major issues (tranny, electronics, computers, etc) that we had to take to the dealer repeatedly. Granted they are under warranty usually but I want a car I don't have to worry about.

I don't know about my China, but I know both my previous Camaro SS's were built in Canada. Nothing against our Canuck brothers and sisters here. lol

Oh, and God knows where my Chevy 'Burb was built? Dallas I think, maybe Mexico? But then, I don't agonize over stuff like that. I spend my dollars on a product that's produced to meet my needs at a price point I can live with. Build it wherever you want.

That's a funny letter, I've had a similar situation. My Z is always garaged but I had to park her on the street this one occasion. I parallel parked perfectly behind a car (left room for her to back up) and there's enough space for 2 cars behind me. 4 hours later, I come back to see the Z sandwiched by 2 full cab trucks and a note that said

"Learn how to park, rude!"

I'm like wtf!? I park the Z nicely outside for the first time and only 4 hours and I get a sly note. I wanted to chuck a grenade on whoever wrote that letter and tell that person I don't have control on how other people park/leave.

I have a feeling we'll see "Congradulations" pop up at some point again .

I live near Infineon Raceway in Sonoma and whenever NASCAR comes to town (when the drivers are forced to make right turns) there is always some sort of motorhome related violence.

They are a simpler folk...these NASCAR fans.

Being a GM employee, he should know that all of the parts come from china, mexico, indonesia, korea, canada and just about anywhere else but here...I remember one day when I was walking out of class, two classmates say to me: why does a GM employee drive a nissan? I politely replied "cause he knows better"
