FULL TANK of PREMIUM (always) is around 51.00

 

Yopu might be getting a "fill-up" for $51, but you sure ain't getting "full tank of premium" for $51.

A "full tank" is 20 gallons, and around here, premium is about $3.50 gallon, so a "full tank" would be about $70.

I "filled up" yesterday. It took a little over 18 gallons, and cost me $63.50.

I can't afford to fill up. I put in $20 at a time.

 

I think I've been a little rough on the Z this week. I usually get around 300-340 miles at 1/4 of a tank mark. I only just hit 250 miles @ 1/4 of a tank this week. :x (I think I've been enjoying the sound of the pop charger and shifting in the 3.5-4k range instead of 2.5-3k like usual... lol >_>)

 

Well, I don't know the right answer for sure, but unless you are racing, I would think filling it up is the better choice.

As for the people not using premium and/or the people who can't always afford to fill the tank- check your local Giant (or maybe other big grocery brands) grocery store. The one where I live gives you points when you shop for food that leads to discounts on gas at their gas station. I usually get 20-40 cents per gallon discount, so it's like paying for regular 87. Of course, I may be paying a little more for my food as opposed to grocery shopping at walmart or something, but it makes filling the tank less painful.

Anyone hear about that guy who invented the gasoline pill? You fill your tank with water then add a gasoline pill. I think Mobil Oil had him murdered.

 

 

i'm about to buy a 2004 touring roadster... it has stock chrome wheels and rear spoiler and is in good condition. any ideas about what it's worth? 23K a good price?

 

our gas is not that high here bill... 17 gallons cost me 51-52 dollars to fill up... I have been paying around $3.05... I think it is stupid for gas to be different prices in different areas... I can drive into Memphis which is less than 5 min from my house and it is more.... It should be a standard price..

 

u guys are lucky with those low prices on gas.....full tank is around 100E (something like 150$) in Europe

 

it's always good to have your car filled all the way less work for the fuel pump. On my old car i filled it up everytime it got to 1/2 tank or 1/4 and i never had to replace the fuel pump and the car has got over 290k miles on it...
