yeah well i can problly tell you exactly what is wrong there IF it isnt the frame it will be some suspension parts all twisted up and stuff and other stuff like camber bars and all. only that if you go used i gonna be 1000 in parts and thats if it didnt shift your rear end and if that happened well like the others said gl. I think the z is made from several frames do (i think) and if the suspension frame is bent well that like 600 brand new i think but if it hit really hard well it might have bent the chassis frame and all dunno maybe its not as bad as it looks but you coulb be suprised when you start working on it i know if you go with new parts you could spend over 5000 in just putting that section straight again not including that quarter panel

IF THEY OWN A BODY SHOP, THEY ONLY HAVE TO PAY FOR PARTS.
Man, do an excellent job fixing it and drive the hell out of it. I just don't know about your color choice!
And for those of you with negative comments, I guarantee the paint they use will be better quality than Nissan OEM.

Here are some pics of the car in the shop. We now have a quarter clip, all of the suspension components (i forgot to take pics), and a hatch with spoiler. I scored a free nismo wing, it was included with the hatch, got the whole hatch with wing for 500$. Also, the previous owner put in leather seats. Sorry for the crappy phone pics, but it was the best i could do. ill keep you guys updated, for those who are interested.

I personally think you got an outstanding deal. The damage looks very localized and well contained. My father and I have a sealed/ported/filtered paint-booth where we do plenty of body work. (mostly on airplanes, but cars nonetheless) Had I come across that vehicle, there is a good chance I would have jumped on it. I think that even if parts exceed $2k, you will still have a very nice Z that cost a little over 8K... plus a good chunk of labor... but hey, that just gives the car more sentimental value!
GL and I look forward to those 'after' photos
