I just bought it in texas, and want to know more about it, so i thaught that there might be a slight chance that the previous owner might be on the boards. It is a 2004.5 Base Z...... yes i buy salvaged cars.

The car was actually painted some kind of pearl white by the previous owner, my father ownes a auto body shop, the car will probably be painted candy golden yellow over gold

Yes, we are doing the work ourselves, the parts shouldnt cost more then 1500, the damage actually is not very bad, the quarter only has sheet metal damage. It is a very easy fix, and i think i got a good deal . Ill post pictures when it is done.

 

What they didn't tell you was that the damage was caused by landing on rocks.... at the bottom of a lake. Even if you do the work yourself, I still see more than $1500 to bring that back to near OEM. Good luck!
