Default E-Mail from Dealer--WOW!

Just received this email from my dealer:

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Well, I saw the 350's today at the Nissan headquarters in Gardena. In a word "WOW"!! Great colors, the look is amazing. I sat in almost every model and they are all very nice. The leather in the 6 sp touring was very nice. I can't wait until we get them in for you to see for your self.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

They also sell BMW's at this place so it's good to know that even they are impressed with the Z!!

You're on a roll with the proactive contact. I finally called Nissan yesterday since I hadn't heard anything from Illinois. They left a message while I was wasting $10.50 at XXX. They have my VIN and said my delivery date was 9/13.

30 days and counting......where are we meeting?

Think I'm going to be sleeping in my garage for awhile after my baby arrives, mostly in the spoon position with the Z......you bring the cards and we can pretend it's Vegas

Hey all you bay area people... I'm not on the pre-order list, but would like to test drive a Z. Do you know of any dealers in NorCal that are planning on having at least one test car available??

Thnx!

gfunk

Would be very surprised if any dealer had any to test drive.
Since they are all preorder I doubt they are going to let people test drive the car.

Of course that's my .02 on this. Maybe others might have some other thoughts on this.

Pointfive,

I can't believe mrs. pointfive is going to let you do that!!

The owner of Boardwalk Nissan in Redwood City ordered a Z for himself. He may decide to sell it after it comes in - it's due very early September. I met the Z salesman (Adam) at the Z by the Bay event in Fremont a week ago. He said that as soon as the owner's car comes in he plans to get in some driving time. You might check there and see if they'll let you try it. I wouldn't be too surprized if other dealers fudged the system a bit and pre ordered cars they plan to resell.

Hey gfunk;

Last time I talked to the sales manager at Hilltop Nissan in Richmond, they were receiving three unsold preorder Z's.

You wouldn't be able to customize your options as Nissan configured these unsold allocation spots but you might be able to do a test drive.
