Default My Z was shot at

I was woken up this morning by my landlord.

"Are you involved in any gangs? Hahaha."

Me: "Why?"

Landlord:"Because your car was shot up man. The police want to talk to you."

It happened at exactly 5:00am. There's a bullet hole at the back of my car and my back window is shattered.

This JUST happened - I was going to take pictures but I wasn't allowed near the car because there were bullet casings everywhere and I couldn't disturb the scene so they're towing my car away as we speak and they told me they don't know when I'll get it back

Now I have to phone the insurance company and see if I'm covered and if they'll give me a rental car for who knows how long.

You see...Canada isn't as friendly as people make it out to be

I will definitely upload some pictures when I get my car back.

*UPDATE - PICS*

***A CINDER BLOCK WAS THROWN THROUGH MY BACK WINDOW***

Yep, there were 5 in the middle of the street and two near my car.

There's always deals going on near this forest next to my house and my car was the ONLY car on the street at the time. They also ripped out a cinder block from my neighbors lawn and left it in the middle of the road.

My car has been a magnet lately! First a rock the size of a marble hitting my windshield on the highway, then I find a little dent on the corner of my hatch next to the "350Z" a month ago while washing my car, then I accidentally curb my front right tire while parallel parking while drinking a redbull before work and now this.

People aren't over-exaggerating...Z's are magnets for trouble.

Wow...that really blows. Some douche hits your car and you lose it to police custody without any form of compensation.

Definitely.

In all honestly I was hoping they would have hit the engine or something so I could get it written off because I want to get out of my lease but unfortunately it's something that could probably be fixed...

I really wish I could have taken some pictures

Naw man, there's always drug deals going on in front of my house. Guys in Escalades with 20's and stuff...you know the typical 50 Cent vehicles.

I'm not TOO pissed as long as my insurance covers it - If they don't then I'm going to be furious.

Yea move to Los Angeles for some real excitement where you can get shot at while actually driving your car, instead of just when it's parked. My friend's co-worker said her brother shoots at people from his car when he gets mad. Plus, you can join in the action yourself and do some shooting too since only about 60% of homicides are ever solved here! I love the states!

Well, I would get out of the gang if I were you... what'chu claim? bloods, crips, VL, GD, SXIII, AV, BGF, MS13, Yakuza, Triads, or LA EME or DNF?....

I'm just guessing, since you never denied it. I would move, like yesterday.

Guess the guy that shot up your car didn't get the memo about no handguns allowed in Canada?

your insurance company will cover ti as a comp loss, so hopefully your deductible is low for comp (really cheap to lower it to like $100) but as for having a rental car while the car is in impound may be an issue. That blows, hope the car comes back from the police yard with all pieces still attatched!
