That is a steal. Rosenthal and Browns want over 110k for that car.

i know right, but it actually the owner that i talked to , not any salesman. Seem to be kinda fishsy, but he was serious.

Sounds like BS, I am guessing none of the reserved list is paying 10K down and he wants to have one sold. Also I would not want my 80+K car being used as a toy for idiot consumers to mess with for 30 days. My .02

lol that's wat i said but he said every single one of them will be markup. Each certify GTR dealer invested more than $100k just to be certify. 50K lift system, 2 machanic to Japan to learn GTR tech, and a punch of other stuff he told me. Atmost 2 GTR per dealer.

they only needed to upgrade the lift if it hasn't been already. for one, new dealerships already have them (west covina nissan said they did)

and seriously, the car is not a '1' year model run. a 100k investment, when they are already making money on the MSRP from nissan is ridiculous.

Not possible, a dealership will want people to sit in it, etc to sell to potential customers. Most owners are dodging the expense of training salesman on the GTR and selling the vehicle personally. Either way I almost picked up a full top secret G35 supercharged, etc. 60+K invested for pretty cheap direct owner to consumer process but it was beat up by idiot customers and employees who didn't understand the car so I walked away

1st off if he has many pre ordered why would he approach you who didnt even show interest?
Wouldnt you think the people who pre ordered and saw one sitting there for a month would get pissed? I would purposely cancel my order just for that.

Trust me. he does not have them sold yet and looking for someone to take one so he can get one in inventory to display and make some money back.

That's not your cost to bear.

... NO. tell him you will do it for MSRP or nothing.
When I bought my Z, the sales person wouldn't budge on the price so I left him my card and wrote the price I was only going to pay and told him to think on it for a few days then call me. The next day my cell rings, guess who it was.

In all fairness the salesman was a mongoloid. You could go to any Nissan dealer in the US and get it for under retail. Its not a hard to find car.
He realized that when you walked out.
The GTR isnt going to be the same way. Its gonna get marked up by everyone unless they got it in writing before the pricing was released or something.

Im with most. I would tell him ill take if for msrp and no more. Plus i get the car the day it comes in the dealer. None of that "let it sit in our showroom for 30 days". Play hardball with them for sure and if they really wanna sell it they will meet your needs. Hope it works out for your. Tell them msrp plus tax, title and tag and youre in!!

I think this is the best idea. I gonna try to Give him a call tomorrow and see wat he say about that. I think the reason why am first inline is so he can Display my car. But hey without the markup I'll do it for sure, paying $70k is better than paying $80K+

Yea but if he was telling the truth, why wouldnt he offer this to someone who already paid and ordered and wouldnt mind a few $$$ off the sale price to let it sit 30 days?

If it stinks like **** it usually is ****.

Just read R&T it is so to good read these Headlines Challenged Head to Head by the Z06 and Porsche 911 turbo the GTR SPANK them!!

Really Spank them around the track and in handling, matched them 0-60 but 0-100 mph speed was just behind these behemouths of Joy. Lost to the 911 in interior and Iconic image and lost to Z06 in overall exterior looks.

Obviously the 400+ hp Vette or 911s w/o turbo just can't compare when could you ever say that about a Nissan except in terms of reliability.

THE GTR IS A REAL SUPER CAR built by Nissan.

Get one if you can, I'm saving my pennies as we chat.

OK, where do I start? First of all the 1st one to hit Ohio will be coming from Pinehurst Nissan in Pinehurst NC, sold to a ZROC member at list price, no dealer premium His build date was about 10 days ago, and expected delivery to Pinehurst is mid May. If they stick to that schedule, and you are going to ZDayZ, you will get a chance to see it, as Don is picking it up in NC and driving it to ZDayZ. Pinehurst also sold one for the same terms to someone else who will be at ZDayZ, but his is not expected until early July. So maybe you will be getting the 1st one sold in Ohio but that is all. 2nd of all, Nissan North in Worthington/Columbus has a deposit from another ZROC member, but so far has not committed to selling at MSRP, so that may fly or it may not. 3rd of all, it is patently illegal to make you sign that "no resale" contract, and therefore unenforceble by law. 4th of all, anyone who pays an outrageous dealer "premium" should be driving a BMW, as BMW is famous for that kind of crap, and us Z owners should know better.
