Sure you can. I did it in about 2 feet. Did a burnout without realizing it was in third gear rather than first. All I smelled was the clutch instead of rubber. Limped home and the next day the engine would be close to redline just to get the car to start rolling.

Sorry to hear. There are many options out there. Just suggest researching to find what will best suit your needs.

Many F/I owners are running the JWT w/o problems.

There's got to be a better way than the "send-the-$$-first-then-get-your-
stuff" kinda deal. Human nature doesn't allow for such things!

I don't think he was saying its bad for FI, but for high power builds it just doesn't work, so to say its the best for FI would be a misnomer.

Its a good setup and relatively cheap - for what it comes with its cheaper than OEM.

if you saved 12k just by you buying it from the US or an average of 12k, you could of used the SAVED MONEY for a plane tix and a taxi to the guys house to drive it b4 you bought it.

That's what I meant. I wouldn't trust it over 500ft lbs of torque though.

But what proof do you have the movers did not drive the car. A driver who is not good with a stick or drove a stick that does not have the clutch play a z does could easily burn it up. im not saying thats the case. but if he posted there were problems with the clutch going out, then its possible the movers finished it off. i have drove cars with the clutch going out for over a year. if you baby even a clutch going out it will last until you really ride the hell out of it.

this really defeats the purpose of buying in the states. if we save 12g on a car. but we fly down to check out 4 cars, till we find the one we want. there goes alot of the savings. its not exactly very feasible.

I dont have my passport and i didnt want to take the time off work. and when i read abotu chatter with a lightweight flywheel how much chatter are we talking? anybody have any audio clips of it. I suppose yes the drivers could have taken the clutch outta the car but that is there job shipping cars so i would hope they could at least drive a stick.

loL!! When I worked at subway, my coworker used to rub his ***** and touch the lettuce whenever he went back to refill. I was new at the time, but when the manager caught him, he got the axe.
