More Car Care Stuff....
When my dealer called me with the VIN, he said they were offering as an option to put some kind of sealant on the paint. He said it would never need to be waxed, just washed with this special solution, and it would look as good as new.
He couldn't remember the name of the product, and I haven't been able to get ahold of him since.
Sounds kind of hokey to me, I've always been a wash/wax, do-it-yourself kinda guy. (wax on/waxoff
).
I have heard of a process where they heat up the clearcoat and put on an additive to make it more durable, but this one is new to me.
Has anyone heard of this? If I had a name of the process or the name of the product, I would research the hell out of it before agreeing to anything.
Thanks for the info...
