Default Might be buying a Z..Quick Question.

They have a 03 Track for $16500 with 46k miles. I was just making sure if this was a fairly good price. It does have a fair amount of scratches and dings that I would need to get fixed.

Also is there anything else I should look for while inspecting the car? Something that is common with Zs that I could tell by just looking at the car. I have searched and it seems the main concern is really the tranny.

Anyhow thanks for your help. Im in college and work full time...I cant afford to pay anymore than I should lol. I need this car though....I did search, but its alot of posts to look through and I might be purchasing within the next few days. Thanks for all your help guys, hope to be a regular member soon.

price is kind of high.. including those scratches and dings.. dings can be a lot of money to get it fixed.. also depends on how big the scratches are...

its year 2008... the car you are trying to buy is 2003... I think it is a bit too much.. get it down to like 15,000 at least.

i got my 05 touring Z 21,000 at 26,000 mileage in year 2007. should re-think about it.

Have a mechanic you pay & trust check it out for you....best insurance policy you can buy.

Look on board for topics from guys who did not have inspection done & ended up with blown engines.

My advice to you is to get models later than 03s or 04s if possible... I for one owns a 03 Performance model and experienced several if not many issues with the car... such as window motor, abnormal tire wear (front), click noises from rear axle, squealing break that cannot be fixed... the list goes on...

I'm not saying that all the 03 models has the issues I mentioned above, but if you just do a search on this forum, you'd be surprised that how many people have the same bad experience as I have... it's a risk that should put into consideration if you are really buying it... you might just get lucky, who knows
