Default Holes in front bumper

I live in new york , so front license plates are the law here. When I bought my car they drilled holes in my front bumper for the plate without my permission, does anyone know if i can do something about this such as make them repaint the bumper and fill in the holes ?

i think making them fix your bumper consists of handing them a few hundred dollars....i bought some plastic plugs from homedepot and touch up paint.. worked pretty well.. the plugs look better than the holes for sure...

they are probably obligated to give you a car with a front plate holer on it... they could be nice and not do it. but you have no case to make them fix it, they only did what they are supposed to do.

For those that haven't done so and have a car coming in...call and write your dealer and tell him not to drill holes in your bumper Let him know you will take care of the front plate yourself

I got my dealer to repair the holes they put in. They arn't obligated to do anything. They just put the holes in as a courtesy. A courtesy I didn't want. so they filled the holes, then had a company airbrush the bumper, I think it looks pretty good (I don't even have the little divits)
