05 6mt 41,xxx miles, shifts like butter once she warms up. I think the term is notchy until "Joy" warms up. Original tranny

2003 track pack w/APS @ 9 psi, stock block, original stock tranny, 93000 km's (~58k miles) and it's still going strong.

My 03 has never had a tranny replacement. I only have about 45K miles on it though and 5th gear does make some grinding noise pretty frequently. The funny thing is that the harder you drive it, the less it makes noises, . Guess the Z is built to perform and doesn't like commutes, haha.

05 48k miles and just replaced the tranny. Baught the car used at 38k so no clue how it was driven.

nope still smooth shifting. I own 04.5 touring edition. has 54k miles 6 spd

I have 06 Manual GT. It recently started to grind 2nd gear sometimes, i'm at 24k miles. I will be going to dealership to have it checked out and hopefully replace it.

03 with original 6MT at 56K, no problems. It grinds a little, mostly if I try to go to 5th and not fast enough, but other than that, seems fine.

I would be curious to see a poll as to owners of Zs that had Trans probs and the age of them and the experience of them. I swear to this day day that nost tranny "Probs" were psychosymatic <<<<<< (should have popped up on spell)

I drive the **** outa mine and no probs. But I have been slammin gears for 40 years
