Question Super or Premium?

Has anyone had any trouble with premium fuel, i.e. burning too hot? Is there a tendancy to prefire with mid-grade? I want to be sure the Z really needs a premium fuel before I invest. Thanks.

The manufacturer recommends premium fuel (93 octane). I have never put any less in my car.

I allways put 94 in and wouldn't use anything lower so can't comment on performance with any other fuel. Certainly no complaints about how she runs on 94 though !

Go with what Nissan recommends.

Use premium. I have always done the same with my '00 Maxima without any problems.

Nissan engineers know best!

Peace

We have to use premium out here.....since premium is only 91 octane
